Dear Devoted Readers, This is yes, my last post. I have had a great time telling you all about the mysteries of Zeus, Aphrodite, and how they connect. I have learned many things over the course of writing my posts, and I hope you have too! My first factual post included how Aphrodite rose from a cloud of foam of the private body parts of Uranus, cut off by Cronus, his son. For my second post I talked about the childhood of Zeus, his siblings in his slightly later life, and his father. I also talked about how Zeus’s mother, Rhea, swaddled up a rock in clothes in disguise of Zeus for his either to eat, and that later-on in his life, Zeus dethroned Cronus and became king of the Titans. And for my third post I talked about how Zeus and Aphrodite connect ,being so widely known, having very mystical childhoods, having many affairs, and that if Zeus’s dad weren't a character or god, or anything, Aphrodite may have not been born the way she was, named what she was, or anything like that! I have found that the research I have done on Zeus and Aphrodite is important because then you have learned about one of the things Greeks worshipped, what they thought certain natural occurrences were based off of the gods that they believed in! For example, when lightning struck, they thought Zeus was angry! My research relates to our world today because we have stories like the Ancient Greeks did, just with different characters! Also, we have made up figures that come on holidays to supposedly do something specific. For example, how the Easter Bunny puts out Easter Eggs, or how bad spirits are supposed to come on Halloween that the kids scare away with their scary costumes! So really, Ancient Greek Gods relate to our world today because we both have made up characters that do certain acts to people on earth, and a lot of people on earth these days and in the Ancient Times, believe and believed in them! Well, I have had a great time exploring the many wonders of Zeus and Aphrodite with all of you, and I hope you have all learned something over the past few weeks! As this being my final post for a long time, I wish all of my readers a great next couple of months! Goodbye!
